A robust Dyslexia Therapy Program. No official diagnosis required to participate in this program. Students learn through explicit, systematic, and intentional instruction. Components of Dyslexia programs include: phonological awareness, sound-symbol association, syllabication, orthography, morphology, syntax, reading comprehension, reading fluency.
This portion focuses on Multi-Sensory letter introductions, spelling, phonological awareness, oral language, fluency, and reading comprehension.
This portion continues the skills from Book 1 and adds Multi-Sensory Grammar and Developing Metacognition.
This program continues the skills from Books 1 and 2, and adds Word Detective.
This program focuses on foundational reading and writing skills.
This consists of 20 minute sessions 4 times per week. It focuses on alphabet activities, phonological and Oral Language.
This consists of 30 minute sessions 3 times per week. This schedule continues to build alphabet and phonological skills. It adds Multi-Sensory Letter Introductions and Handwriting.
Students develop oral language and listening skills. This is appropriate for Grades 1-3.
Students learn spelling patterns of the English language, the five spelling rules, and strategies to spell irregular words that do not follow a spelling pattern or rule.
Color Code parts of speech and compose sentences.
Discovering the History of the English Language
Identify the origins of English words derived from Anglo-Saxon, Latin, and Greek.
This program focuses on Vocabulary and Comprehension.
This consists of 8 lessons that use Fables to develop comprehension skills. I offer 2, 30 minute sessions per week.
This consists of 8 lessons and is a combination of teacher read and student readd fiction and non-fiction passages. I offer 2, 45 minute sessions per week.
In this section, students learn to independently read and comprehend all genres of text. I offer 2, 1 hour sessions per week.
